Booklet, 500 copies disseminated in Jerusalem & Ramallah, 2010

Edition of 500 fake passports, based on a facsimile of the artist’s Tunisian passport, distributed in the occupied territories by artists from the Eternal Tour exhibition. Offered to a Palestinian population deprived of national passports, the work questions regimes of circulation, the legality of artistic gestures, and the conditions under which an artwork is accessible — and to whom. These booklets initially circulated as clandestine objects, sometimes facing logistical or customs-related obstacles, before becoming sought-after items activated through public readings. The project shifts the symbolic boundaries of art, navigating between critical publishing, political action, and poetic contraband.
