Dear Mylène is a series of fourteen fake postcards, distributed in public space in Geneva as part of a contemporary art walk. Each card reveals a fragment of the daily life of a Geneva-based artist who has moved to Istanbul to make a documentary on human rights violations in Syria. Caught between cultural clashes, isolation, work, bombings and a military coup, the text blends displacement with biting humour.
