Carnivorous     طوق الحمامة
book 100 copies 2010

A short text offering a cannibalistic rewriting of the Arabic literary classic The Ring of the Dove by Ibn Hazm. Each copy is unique: bound as an eight-page booklet, it requires the reader to physically cut through the paper to access the content, engaging in an active and transgressive reading process. In addition to the cover, each book comes with a distinct dust jacket that unfolds into a photographic print. The editorial gesture mirrors the text’s meaning, creating a tension between desire, violence, and revelation.
