Travel Log - Carnet de voyage - Photobook
2024
Travel Log blends the intimate and the geopolitical in a visual journal combining photography and text fragments. First presented as a public installation (Solothurn Literature Days, 2022), the project evolved into a photo book, using the page sequence to construct a fluid, affective narrative. Rooted in personal experience — between immigration, asylum, and constant motion — the images extend a memory shaped by displacement. The book becomes a unifying space, where text and image engage in dialogue. This work reflects on the narrative potential of visual material, across public, private, and immersive spaces.
